Project Management Training

IT Project Management is a discipline that requires constant learnings and updating of skills. In this respect, project management is no different than other areas of information technology. IT is a young and maturing industry compared to some older ones such as construction. Not that Construction PM do not need to learn new skills, but perhaps not at the same pace as IT. Imagine the technologies that we use today (ex: smart phone) and think back twenty years, if you are old enough, or even ten years ago. Now compare a high-rise in Toronto with one from the 90s! I hope that you get my point.

Project Management discipline has continuously matured and advanced. It is not about adding a certification to your resume, rather about learning better ways of doing our job and enjoying the learning.

Luckily, there are many ways to update our Project Management skills. Here are a few that I am aware of, but there are many more. Chose the one that suites your schedule and budget.

Please note that I am not endorsing nor recommending any of these programs. I am simply listing a few programs that I am aware of. Please do your own research as well.

I take this opportunity to thank our project managers for helping us deliver many projects for our clients.
